Admission to class VI during 2018-19 in Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas Last date is extended upto 02.12.2017

Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas are co-educational residential schools providing quality modern education to the talented students predominantly from rural areas from class VI  to class XII. Applications are being collected for admission to class VI during 2018-19.  Candidates fulfilling the following criteria are eligible to apply for admission.

  • Studying in Class V in academic Session 2017-18 in a Govt. / Govt. recognized school in the  same district, where JNV is functioning and to which they are seeking admission.

  • Studied and passed classes III & IV from Govt. / Govt. recognized school.

  • Studied full academic session in each class. Should study for full academic session in Class-V  from the same district from where admission is sought.

  • Born between 01-05-2005 and 30-04-2009 (both the days inclusive)

  • Last date to apply for admission is extended upto  02.12.2017

Additional Provision to apply for admission to class VI( 2018-19) through JNVST 2018 announced.

 In addition to the provision of online application for admission through Common Service  Centres, the parents/ candidates can also submit their applications duly verified by the  Headmaster of the school where the candidate is studying in class V during 2017-18 to the Principal, Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya of the  district concerned and obtain acknowledgement.
